My daughter somehow managed to delete folders of photos from My Photos and then deleted them from the Recycle bin. Her husband has somehow recovered some of the photos that were not in folders but can't recover the folders. Is there any way (or any software) that might help them recover more?
Many thanks.
Many thanks.

The best way to use any data recovery software is to install the software on another PC and connect the drive to the other pc.
The reason being is that putting the software on the drive you have lost the files from risks overwriteing the files your trying to recover even useing the pc puts them at risk. so try not to use the pc.
If your in my area I will help in anyway I can.0 -
All you need to do is recover them from your most recent back up.
You do have a recent back up don't you?0 -

Not necessarily. You can install the recovery software to a USB thumb drive and run it from there. Of course, you'll need portable recovery software.0 -

STOP USING THAT PC! Until you have made a good attempt at recovery. using it will wipe over possibly recoverable areas of the disk. Also have you checked the camera and old memory cards in case they are still available there? Recovery might even be possible from camera memory even if you think you've deleted there too.0

Try SoftAmbulance Photo Undelete - http://recovery-review.com/flash-disk-recovery/softambulance-photo-undelete-1-16.html or look for some other software on that site (it's good to read reviews and choose the app by your taste)0
