Is a fensa certificate a guarantee?

While repairing a broken pane, a glazier commented that the window frame had dropped and I should check my fensa certificate and get the fitters to fix it.
I have the certificate, the windows were fitted in 2012, but is a fensa certificate actually a guarantee? I thought it was just certification that regulations were met. If it is a guarantee, how long for?

You would need to check with your solicitor to see if any guarantee was transferred to you. Guarantees aren't automatic and some are non transferrable.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0
