Years Ago...

A few years ago i successfully claimed back over £7000 from Lloyds TSB. i had several loans over a period of time and asked them to investigate them for PPI misselling. They upheld some of my claims & dismissed at least two. It took them around about 6 months to resolve & pay up the original claims.

Then two weeks ago i received a call from them advising they were reopening two if the claims they had rejected. Can anyone advise how long they take to investigate the cases and also if upheld how long til i could expect any payment.

i was originally advised 3 weeks on my initial call from them but i called them back yesterday & was told they had no timescales.... i only called back as i work away & was unsure if it was Lloyds who called me in the 1st instance.

Is it going to be another 6 month wait or have things improved since i first claimed?

  • I had exactly the same a few months ago, Lloyds took no longer than 8 weeks from the phone call and the day the letter arrived the money was in my account , I do still have a Lloyds account tho

Anything from a few weeks to a few months. However, there have also been a lot of people getting the same outcome. A review of a past decision is to check whether the decision was right or not. So, whilst they are overturning a good number. They are still staying with the old decision on a good number too.
