AS Parking Ticket - Promenade Perronporth -Help

Hi Guys,
Just need some help or advice off anyone regarding a parking ticket we received from AS Parking last week.
We purchased a ticket which was positioned on my dashboard the correct way up, when we returned we had a parking fine note saying the ticket was placed faced down. The ticket obviously was turned over whilst opening and shutting the door to get out as it's very blustery on the seafront.
I'm not happy as the tickets supplied DO NOT HAVE a sticker back so you can stick the ticket to the windscreen which I always do.
I bet I'm not the only person to receive a ticket because the high winds have moved the ticket on the dash. Surely, I have a right to object/complain. Surely the tickets should have a sticker back to them.
Look forward to any comments.
Thanks

Please read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky near the top of the thread list, one page back from here. You need only at this stage to read post #1 (and #2 if you don't understand any of the acronyms we use). It provides the full details on how to start the process of seeing off this charge.

Have you complained to the landowner? You need to do a bit of research to find out who that is. If this was the public promenade, do the council have any responsibility in maintaining it? Call to the council on Monday required - come back straightaway if there is a council involvement.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
