They shouldn't be allowed to build any property with only one parking space. It should be a minimum of two. I know they want to discourage car ownership, but cars are here to stay for a long while...
A friend of mine bought a one bed flat in Oxford with one parking space, and wondered why friends didn't visit - er... There was no where else to park!!
Why? I have no need or desire for even one parking space. A garage or large shed will be a requirement for me when I look for my next house, but I don't need parking at all.
If you need parking, make sure the place you choose to live has enough parking to accommodate your needs. Don't start demanding that society place restrictions on the rest of us just so you don't have to shop around.0
