The current value of the Euro is .73p so the Kindle should be about £30 less.
I agree the US is notorously cheaper for most things than good old GB, but it's a bit galling to be paying so much more for things from Europe, especially when buying from the same company.0 -
I have ordered stuff from China on Ebay and used the .com site rather than .co.uk for some odd reason its cheaper even though its international shipping either way.
Any issues with the Kindle and languages? Or can you just change language when setting it up?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Not too sure about the language but I'll be checking that out first to make sure.
That's very interesting about using the US ebay site - I'll look into that next time I want something from China, but is there any extra cost involved paying through Paypal in dollars?0 -

This somebody hasn't - I just use the above website to which I provided a link. I was only interested in a Kindle.0 -

Didn't pick up the fact that you were looking for a kindle.
You can definitely buy a kindle anywhere & then register it against amazon uk - I have done the opposite - bought a UK kindle & registered it against the french amazon site - so you can buy books there.
