Setting up a web forum - advice

Hi, We are soon to start our own business. It's a franchise and there are other people who also have franchises with the same company.

My husband would like to set up a forum for the franchisees to post online. He wants it to be in a similar way to how this works with a thread that people can add to or that people can start a new topic etc.

He wants to be able to password protect the forum so only those that know the password can read/post. He would also need the option to moderate the board so he could delete any inappropriate posts should any occur.

Is there a website that would allow him to do this or would he have to set up his own?

Cheers in advance for any guidance
