Advice on new mobile please

Hi guys

I've had a Samsung Galaxy Note for several years now and it has worked well but I am now looking at replacing it with a 4G mobile. I would like to keep with an Android handset, preferably with a 5 inch screen and am looking for unlimited texts / 100 mins call time / 1Gb data allowance. I have been with EE (Orange) for quite a long time and as I have no had any issues, I am happy to stay with them.

Ideally I would like to pay no more than £20 per month.

I would be really grateful to receive suggestions about a phone.

Thank you.

If you're happy with your current plan have you considered the Motorola G?

5" 720p display; Android (and you'll receive the latest updates far quicker than the competition) and it's also 4G capable.

I too will be changing my phone later this month. I have been offered the Samsung A3 from Carphone Warehouse at £17 50 for 500 mins 500 M and unlimited texts. or a bigger plan for £18 50. There is no upfront cost This is with o2 who are my current provider If I look at o2 the cost is £20 50 and £9 99 upfront cost.
I received an email from CPW yesterday offering me the Samsung 5 I think it is for a special discount and at £20 per month. Same no of minutes etc and data but this deal is with VP and I am reading a lot of negative posts regarding them .
Can I ask what difference there is between the two. I realise the 5 is a bigger screen but not sure if there is any great benefit I think this phone is £27 50 with o2 .
I also looked at the Z3 compact Sony at £21 50 with £60 upfront payment This was the price in the 02 shop.
Just a comment I had a call from someone the day after I was in the CWS stating that I had been in the shop. They had all my details and were saying that I could change right now and they would not charge me the fee of £10 for changing a month early. The person in the shop just said leave it until the 25th when there would be no fee to pay.
I was concerned that this might be a scam call. I was not able to get through to my local shop. I did phone Customer Services and they said they have nothing to say that I was called. The person was very pushy but I stood my ground and said I was going to deal directly with the assistant who helped me in store.
Advice and opinion would be appreciated .
    Thank you Sue
