Northern Ballet transports you to Japan in David Nixon OBE’s Madame Butterfly, danced to the famous Puccini score performed live by Northern Ballet Sinfonia.

The inspiration for the world famous musical Miss Saigon, the story tells of the doomed love affair between Pinkerton and his young Japanese bride, Butterfly.

This unmissable evening will start with a short introductory piece, Perpetuum Mobile, choreographed by Scottish Ballet’s Artistic Director Christopher Hampson and set to music by Bach. This is world class ballet on your doorstep.
