How long do you usually give a company to send out a prize before you start chasing it up??
I won a twitter comp on 9th August, pm'd them my details straight away and they replied next morning saying they would send out asap... i've still not received it. I was thinking maybe wait until 9th September (so a month) before i start to chase? is that fair or still a bit soon?
I know with other comps it can take a while to receive a prize, but thought twitter was usually quicker?
Thanks!

I had a win on 6th august which I chased yesterdayproud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl0

I won some GHDs on Twitter last year (my first ever win!) and they took about 7 weeks to arrive, but I won a cake tin on Twitter last month and it took a few days to arrive. Think it all depends on the company. I'd give it a month before sending a polite email and see if they give you some sort of time-frame0

If it's been over 28 days (4 weeks) then I would send them a message ... just be polite and say you were concerned it might have got lost in the post or something along those lines ... don't go in all heavy-handed shouting about the ASA or anything like that (which I think some people tend to do a little too readily)0

Give them at least 28 working days (most companies don't include weekends in this even if they trade)£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120

A comp being on TW/FB etc does not really make any difference to delivery of a prize - the general guidelines are "within 30 days unless stated otherwise"0

I won a grand prix package from Capital Radio in 1986. Still waiting for it!Pants0

I try to resist any chasing until 4 weeks have elapsed, I've got one which is very nearly there right now...0

Yeah I wait a month before I start chasing up. It pays off to chase them up though, I just received my prize from original source after chasing it up yesterday morning after a month.Keep Sprinkling Lucky Dust :A0

thanks everyone
i'll give it another week then will politely message them.... just worried they might have forgotten! lol 0 -
I wait a month, then after that, I'll annoy them every 2 weeks until I get my prize! I'm always polite about it. I got a bag of dog food yesterday that I won in June. I was fobbed off because I'm in the Highlands I suspect, told it was sent 3 times! Then I spoke to someone on their Facebook page and my prize was here within 3 days

So sometimes chasing does work, especially if its public!I just enter and forget...hoping to win something!
