  • Good Afternoon everyone, grey sky now but we had a lovely sunny morning. Hello LILLIBET lovely to see you posting here, love to the pups, we're gradually getting used to life without the Dockling but still haven't sat in his armchair! Hello too to WHITE SAGE welcome in to the thread family, they're nice folks and we love to chat!

I have some wonderful news to share today, DD2 heard last night that their offer had been accepted on a lovely house and when we checked the Estate Agents details it said SOLD subject to contract. I'm so happy for them, it has a lovely secure garden for the Zebra child to play in and the house is big enough for them to have the family that they want and is in a nice area too. It will have room for a guest room/study too so that will make sitting the Zebra much easier and we'll sleep better than we do on the sofa bed.

DD1 is coming home this evening to do the Shooting a Longbow course that we bought her for her birthday this year too, so nice to give her something she values rather than just another 'thing'!

Have yourselves a nice afternoon, Lyn xxx.
  • Morning all,

Back from our holidays :( We went to stay in my cousins place in Southern Spain (my Aunt and Uncle live on the same plot too). It feels very odd - as though we went away in the Summer and came back in the Winter. I really can't believe how dull and chilly it is!
DH is being a miserable sod today which is usual for him when ever we come back as he wants us to up sticks and move there too, whereas I don't. I have told him to go if he wants and I'll come visit :)

Snoozer - That's a worry about the money. I'd do like Judi says and change your locks.

Sad news about your Auntie Judi, but I expect it will be interesting reading her dairies.

Last words i said to her son was "if theres anything i can do, anything you want me to do dont hesitate to ask".

He answered "You can read through these diaries if you want".

I hope he doesnt drop them off at my house.
