hi Dragon
glad to see you around again.
sounds like you've been busy.
well done for getting a doctors appointment, i've made the first enquiry into moving mine as they're back to 8.30 calls for appointments which means i'm highly unlikely to ever get one.0 -

Thank you!
Humph - I can understand that for emergencies but not for a standard appointment , what if like me you have to get bloods taken every six weeks AND it has to be first thing in the morning?Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

oh you're allowed to book the nurse, though they'd prefer you to trek 40 mins to the hospital for your blood tests.
I know why they've gone back to this option as they can always say that you've been offered an appointment. Sod the fact that it could be at 11 or 2 whilst you're at work, they've offered you an appointment, you've 'just' decided to turn them down. sorry this has narked me for many a year and i thought they'd improved but back they go. when i asked how i was ever to get an appointment i was told that they didn't know.0 -

i was told i could write a letter of complaint but when i asked for the name of the person and a piece of paper she gave me the paper and walked away.
I think its now gone a step too far hence trying to move surgeries. I rang up today and the lady sounded really nice, and they do have people from my town there, but the doctor will want to speak to me as it's their decision in the end. Hope i don't end up not getting in with them and being 'dumped' by my current surgery.0 -
