The helpline are very helpful...I called them to see if the certificate covered dentist and opticians but it doesn't..he had to ask somebody though...and the whole call only took a few minutes.

Finally got the rest of the results back yesterday :D, cholesterol absolutely perfect (up yours the dietician who was horrified that I didn't eat Flora or some such but actually had butter and full fat cheese and mayonnaise! :rotfl:) and diabetes - nope! blood sugars are bang on as well :D - so the docs are really pleased that they only have one thing to get right which is the thyroxine :o

So now I can relax again and hopefully start cleaning and stitching again (nowt has happened all week! Well since last Friday really :p)

At least you only have the one to deal with now rather than the 3...that should be much easier to regulate rather than them having to rule out loads of other medicines/illnesses causing it.

That's it Taxi! having to only cope with one thing is doable - next week Dr Dragon is off Monday and Tuesday (yay!!) so stitching may wait until Wednesday :rotfl:

Just caught up with your news, Dragon - excellent! All those conditions are cope-able with individually, but you're right, the restrictions on you if you had all three would be really difficult to live with. And Dr Dragon has time off - we just need *some* nice things, don't we?

Absolutely Karmacat! Roll on about 6pm tomorrow and then 4 days relaxing! (then cleaning and stitching .. doesn't have to be in that order :D)

hi Dragon, isn't it funny how they see a 'larger' person and the words cholestrol just flash before their eyes. They keep testing me for it, and it always comes back fine, yet they can't get it out of their heads that i must have cholestrol issues. Enjoy your time off with Dr Dragon
