Car Insurnace - forgot to renew

Hello everyone,
My car insurance expired today at 13:00 and I woke up quite late due to a late night and I forgot to review as the date was in the back of my mind.
I remembered today and quickly renewed at 3:40 and I was wondering if that is okay?
I was not driving between those times and I renewed as quickly as I could.
My no-claims bonus sheet says that my insurance expired at 13:00, so I am wondering if there are any consequences that I will face?
I would greatly appreciate some support,
Thanks.

Thanks for the reassurance.
I didn't auto renew as the auto renew price was £900 while another insurer was offering £450.0 -

I was exactly the same my insurance expired at midnight last nigh and I only renewed this morning. Provided the car is not parked on the road then it is not a problem. Technically if you are not going to insure and it is parked off road you should fill in a SORN form. Any more than a few days then I would definitely apply for SORN. A few hours, unless your very unfortunate no one will notice.0
