I'd suggest looking at the ETF.
FTSE 250 ETF, ticker code: MIDD"If you aren’t willing to own a stock for ten years, don’t even think about owning it for ten minutes” Warren Buffett
Save £12k in 2025 - #024 £1,450 / £15,000 (9%)0 -
If you would rather stick with a fund I found the Blackrock Mid Cap at 0.17% when I was looking a few months ago.
Haven't invested in it so certainly can't recommend it.0 -
Or the fund HSBC FTSE 250 Index Acc C
(O/C 0.17)
Depending on platform etc, no dealing charges as it is a fund.

that ETF is no longer competitve. its on-going charges are still 0.4%, and now there is vanguard FTSE 250 ETF (VMID) which only charges 0.1%.
(if you want funds, the blackrock & HSBC funds mentioned above are both competitive.)0
