halifax one card

has anyone applied for a halifax one card ....how long does it normally take for card to be sent out?

I had one last year and it took 10 days from application in branch to card arriving. HTH.

I got an instant discission on 29th July, got my T&C's to sign about 10 days later and i've only just recieved my PIN yesterday. Not recieved my card yet though, but it did say in the letter which my pin number came with that it was on it's way. I always thought your card came first and your pin afterwards.

I didn't get the rate advertise, I got something like 21.9%.... but it's 0% on everything for 12 months.

Does anybody know if you can transfer money from your halifax current account onto your halifax credit card via online banking instantly or would it be just like paying any other credit card. 4 day turn round.

The latter, unfortunately. You need to allow 5 working days, although in practice it normally takes 3 days.

Alternatively, because you are an HBOS current account holder, the bank will accept payment by debit card over the telephone. This is normally the quickest way to pay.

A bill payment from an HBOS account still takes 3 to 4 working days.

The quickest way is to pay cash over the counter in a Halifax branch before 4pm on a bank working day.

On the other point of how long it takes, it does seem to be taking a bit longer than usual to get cards to people, but if you have the PIN, the card will follow soon.

Took about 10 days for the credit agreement to arrive after applying online. Then another 2 weeks for the card and pin to arrive.

I got £6,300. I had requested a BT of £4,500, so perfect for my needs. I paid it all off in 11 months, never spent on it, and it is now chopped up and closed .

Three working days so far for T&C from online application, am hoping card arrives before the end of the month

it took at least 3 or 4 weeks for mine to arrive. The T&Cs, pin number and card all arrived some time apart. I guess it depends on how busy they are.

Same here took a good 3 to 4 weeks before fully up and running.
