Hi all, new member here. Forums are very in depth, apologies if I have posted this in the wrong section.
I am 21 years old and began working in an estate agents.
I get paid a basic salary of £14,000 a year. I have been asked to register as self-employed.
I have never been registered as self-employed, however I understand that I would need to invoice for my days done at the office?
Also in regards to bank accounts would I need to create a new business account? If yes then any tips on good high interest bank accounts and also how does interest affect the tax man at the end of the year.
Kind regards.

From the little information you have given, it is extremely unlikely that HMRC will accept that you are self employed.

Your employer is probably trying to avoid normal responsibilities by telling you to be self-employed.
It is HMRC who defines the difference. Do you work regular hours?Who having known the diamond will concern himself with glass?
