Is DT becoming unmanageable?I use many areas of MSE all of which in the main are friendly and helpful,except DT which quite frankly is anything but friendly,it used to be,but it seems that all the pleasant posters have been driven off by people the majority of whom only use DT
It is the one area of mse that is screaming out for a moderator.
It would be a shame if mse lost more members just because one area isn't how it should be.

I see you as one of the most unpleasant and unfriendly posters in DT. My opinion, others may disagree.

You refer to those whose political opinions differ from your own rather extreme left wing views as "slime" and "scum". You wish death on anyone who votes Tory. You compare those with moderately right of centre opinions to Nazis running gas chambers.

You abuse and insult anyone and everyone who disagrees with you.

You have been banned for repeatedly breaking posting guidelines.

Be careful what you wish for. If DT gets a moderator you might find most of your posts quickly censored or deleted.

Look in the mirror. You may well be responsible for more people quitting DT than anyone else.

I do not know woodbine personally but your post is way out of line. I have disagreed with woodbine on political debates before but only had polite discussion never what you suggest.

If you are going to accuse somebody of wishing death on people for the way they vote then lets have a link please because I do not believe that is true.

DT is unfriendly pretty much because of the lack of intelligence in there. There is no ability to understand someone elses viewpoint even if they disagree with it for a substantial amount of the posters. However the regulars that can argue their points with logic and reason make it bearable.

Posting what is factual is not out of line and the bit in bold is true.

He has posted that he thinks that all Tories and those who vote Tory should be shot. He has also posted that he thinks Michael Gove would have been running a gas chamber in Nazi Germany. He has made many posts in a similar vein. He has been warned and also temporarily banned about his unacceptable posting style.

He is free to come on here and deny all the above but I doubt that he will as the evidence is all there.

I have been reading these forums for a long time. I don't post much but I read a lot. You have only been on here for 2 years and may not have read some of his more egregious writings.

its not strange we spent most of yesterday away from home sat round my 82 year old mothers hospital bed(not for the first time this year),as for what headtheball has said i challenge him/her to prove it,bit odd as they are relative newcomers to mse or using an AI
but the personal attacks on this thread are just a taste of what its like day after day on DT,I'm just glad that the rest of mse is are far friendlier places
but i maintain that DT needs either moderators or closure
