Hi all I think I'm in need of a new laptop. I currently have two one dell one with a broken bezel and cd drive, I could get these fixed but it's a bit laggy anyways and the wire connecting screen to keyboard is broke.
My other laptop is a compaq which I got in 2010. It replaced the dell one as it was old. The compaq is fine part from the overheating which doesn't make the session last for more than 5 mins. Both laptops are quite clunky and chunky.
I am due to get some overtime pay and thought a new laptop from suggestion of mother would be good. I've had a brief look and a eems most laptops now are attachable keyboard style to tablet style. I would like a normal laptop style which isn't thick.
I was looking at MacBooks but wasn't sure if the price is justifiable or not. I'd be doing family history research, surfing net, maybe do some studying in my own time. I have an iPad and iPhone which I use my iPad as a chill out sort of surfing.
Do NHS staff get discounts at all from Apple.
Please help. Sorry if
