My main reason for not going to Starbucks is that I don't want them to be calling me by my Christian name. I prefer to patronise smaller local coffee shops.
Although their tax arrangements are another reason. The fact that these companies can evade tax is at least as much due to our useless tax collecting laws letting them get away with it.

Not sure if Costa pay their taxes but their Coffee is far far better tasting than Starbucks....hate the name asking in there as well,way way too personal.
