Changing wireless thermostat

Ive got a 10 year old Worcester Bosch Greenstar 30cdi combi boiler with a wireless thermostat.
For some reason the wireless thermostat keeps unpairing recently with the boiler and I have to take the batteries out and try and re-pair it over and over again until it connects.
If I was to replace the thermostat, do I have to also replace the wireless receiver on the boiler as well?

I replaced mine with the same model as the old one so it paired up easy.0

It could be either the thermostat or the receiver that's faulty. Would hate for you to buy a new stat only to find its a faulty receiver0

What make/model is the thermostat? If it's a good one then it might be worth trying to identify the faulty part and replace, otherwise it's a good excuse to buy a Nest, Hive or whatever.
Yes you will need to replace the receiver if you get a different model, but it should be an easy like-for-like swap.0
