Need some advice please...

Hi,

Need some advice as to where to put £25,000. I've recently stuck £3,000 in a NSI Direct ISA and a further £15,000 in one of there Index-linked saving certificates. I was tempted to get another certificate but I want access to it just in case something unexpected pops up. I've also opened an Sainburys Internet saver account, would putting the money in here be ok?

Cheers

I've put 15k into Sainsburys, listed as one of the best current accounts around at the moment

Also don't forget to review Tescos, Icesave and ICICI too :)
  • Cheers. Is it safe to tranfer £15,000 via bacs?

Certainly should be, but depends where you are transferring it to! Many on-line / direct transfer accounts set-up a direct debit between the new account and your cheque account, then you can just move over money from one to the other whenever you like, it's very useful.
