today i went to hinkley currys.digital and got the 2 asphalt ds games i orderd, hardly anything left really:(
i did get some pc games, my ten yr old loves them lol,
got grand theft auto and auto london for 97p
gba pokemon rred rescue team for 4.97 and some ps2 cheat discs, one for 97p and one for 47p lol
got splintercell on the ps2 for 97p also
shame i didnt live nearer else i wouldve tried for others lol

eeek forgot to add, i got him to scan various gba games but all came through at 4.97

Hardly anything left in Grimsby or Leeds (near Ikea) - did pick up Age of Empires for DS for £14.97 though - half price

I had a pretty exhausting trawl around lots of the London branches on Monday and Tuesday, before, after, and during work. Managed to get a few bargains including Tiger Woods, Project Rub, Pac Pix and Sprung on the DS, and GTA: San Andreas, Spongebob The Movie, Sonic Mega Collection and Burnout 3 on the Xbox.

Sadly by the end of yesterday my travels had become almost entirely pointless. By the way, in my experience so far, the big superstore Currys have had a lot more clearance stuff than the Currys Digital, so it may well still be worth having a look in your local one. But Central and West London have already been pounced on by the bargain hunters. Several Currys staff told me "Oh, we had loads and load of clearance games yesterday, but now they're all gone/now it's just these few".

there are some games on clearance tables or in clearance bins which are marked...but alot of the DS and GBA games are still on the normal display shelves...best thing i've found is to get the staff to scan the item regardless of what's on the front of the box. managed to get a few more games yesterday in brent cross that way!

i tried two of the stores local to me (derby)
the staff knew nothing about it and even scanning stuff it came up at full price.

useless!!!

told them it was a head office reduction but they said they didnt know how to check for that.

waste of time.
