I assume you have also raised this dispute with your Card issuer, I had a simular issue and my creidt card company refunded the money even after paypal declined the refund.

Just to let you know I got the money back though paypal!!! :beer: :j All I had to do was raise the dispute and they did the rest. I am really pleased with them, I can't tell you how good it feels to have got it back. I hope others have had luck too??

I got conned but I accidently sent him an echeque for £6. This meant that by the time the echeque cleared he had open disputes, therefore my echeque was cancelled. Lucky me!

Goes to show that crime doesn't pay (although I'd rather the police were knocking on this guy's door). I wonder if there are any people who have just let him have the money?

I always took the warning with a pinch of salt as everybody here is generally friendly and helpful.
Such a shame that we have to be on our guard against these type of people.
