It's in the rules somewhere warning against trading with fellow MSE'rs. Raise a thngy with paypal purplegirluk1, if you search around there should hopefully be an item not as described and you can get your money back. Although I do not know if these options exist when the item has not been sold through ebay.0

You are not alone - i've had 2 other members pm me with the same problem.
The advice i gave them was as anewman said.
Fortunatley for me The Mallard didn't reply to my message.0 -
He PMed me looking 5.97 but when he didnt reply to my request for him to email me the code instead of posting I thought I wasn't chancing it and didnt bother paying. The other thing I thought was strange was that I never remember these packs being £4.97. I know they were £19.97 and then 97 or 47p but I don't think they were ever £4.970

I put a complaint in with paypal as soon as I realised he had conned me. I haven't heard anything as yet. I did also report him to the abuse team so I hope he has been removed from the forums. I have lost £5.97, its not the end of the world but its upsetting to think that it happened here where I feel like I trust people. I have learnt from this, I knew it was against MSE rules but I took the risk. Fingers crossed I will get the money back from paypal. I just hope others will be careful not to do this.0

Yes it may only be £6 but times by how many?
See he's not been online since the 15th November - no doubt has a different user name now.
I wasn't one of those he ripped off, but as I assume most people ARE honest, there but for the grace of God....
Hope he can be traced as this is fraud and the police should be involved.
Sorry to all those who lost money.Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.
