Are you aged 11–17 with a story to tell about Type 1 diabetes in school? Do you want to raise awareness of diabetes and inspire others?
There are three prize categories:
Best Individual film – make a film as an individual.
Best Group film – make a film as part of a group.
Fan Favourite – the film that receives the most YouTube 'likes'.
Use your phone, tablet, or digital camera – it's up to you. Your film won't be judged on the way it looks, it's the stories that we'll be focusing on. You'll need to get your school's approval, and consent from your parent or guardian.
Have your film watched by our expert judging panel and YouTube fans and:
win an iMac Desktop and iPad Air 2 for your school
win a GoPro Hero camera for you
attend the finalist awards screening at BAFTA 195 Piccadilly.
Apply to get your free entry pack, which includes loads of information on how to make your film. If you have any questions (PDF, 143KB), or need inspiration, check out the useful information below, or email makethegrade@diabetes.org.uk.
The closing date for entries is Monday, 16 November 2015 at 9am. But the sooner you enter your film, the more chance you have to get lots of votes for the Fan Favourite award.
