Thank you so much for the reply. You are right I have until 19th December. Mind you I am going away on the 6th December until 14th January so will need to sort it out before then. It has got to the stage when I need to call them about anything I get the hard sell. I can be assertive usually but this man was just wearing me down. He was not listening to what I wanted rather it was what he wanted to sell me.
I do appreciate the moral support I get on these forums. Thanks to everyone! Sue

No you do not have to sort it out before 6/12-do nothing and your contract continues just as before.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Thank you for pointing that out to me. I had not realised it would just roll over. As you said they will start to charge me for the Broadband in Dec. Will they just do this and leave everything else as it is? Not sure how much the BB is on its own but I will check it out. Thanks again

Yes, it continues on the basis of 30 days notice. If your broadband was discounted from £x to £0, then at the end of the discount period it will revert to £x. The October increase announced by TT will also apply, since it's not a fixed price contract. Line rental will increase to £17.70, and broadband to £7.50.
As long as you're content to pay the extra in the meantime, you can deal with it in January-or you can go into your online account and renew or upgrade with what's on offer.

    Thanks again Sue
