Tax Credit help

Hi I would be very grateful of any advice.I received a letter From Concentrix saying they think im being paid too much.I have sent them everything they have asked for in 2013 i earned £5600 working 16 hours minimum wage. Then in June 2014 i got a new job earning £9450 working 30 hrs. I have a disabled son who gets higher rate Dla.I too get PIP at higher rate( I have a progressive brain condition) Im now so worried as i have not heard anything and have called them everyday in the last few weeks but cant get through. Any tax credit expert that would be able to work out if i will have an overpayment? and what i should be getting each week?I forgot to add concentrix have had everything since the 23rd June

Sorry for the rambling and i hope you can understand my post.

Many thanks Janette

  • Thanks for replying so quickly,Sorry i forgot to say i started on a 25hr Contract in June 2014.Then it was increased to a 30 hr contract in november. I did write to tax credits to change my circumstances but in now thinking they never received it as i cant find the tax credit award that they would have sent me.on my P60 for this tax year my earnings were £9408 as some of the year i was in my minimum wage job.Tax credits are aware of the Dla and Pip.The pip was added to the claim on the 20th January this year. The dla has been on for a couple of years. There is no childcare.I have done my renewal and received my award,it has the correct employer on and hours i work as well as the amount above which was on my p60.

  • Thanks I hope so.Would you have any ideas what my payments should be on that yearly income?I have been putting money aside just incase so if i owe them it wont be a massive problem.

  • Hi

I just wanted to let you know that they had my stuff for nearly 3months before I got it back and everything was ok - so try not to worry too much I don't think the length of time is any indication of the outcome - it just shows how big the backlog is !!!
