    How much extra would you pay for that then? oh and how would you transfer the recordings to another TV/Tablet/phone? Another thing if you record from HD sources eg BBC1HD,ITV1HD etc they expect manufacturers of PVRs to encrypyt the data.

    My Sammy tv records freeview HD. I can confirm it wont play on another tv.
    To be honest I find catchup tv to be just as good. no need to download when you can stream.
