ESA(C) cut - why? :(

    The actual savings cut of is 16k between 6k and 16k they knock of £1 in every £250.
    My confusion you said you were due to officially retire next spring, so i presumed you were of pension age.

    The OP means that he will be able to draw his deferred TPS pension when he is 60.

    Thanks Merlin,

    Think I will pop into the CAB over this one, have nothing to lose. Just want to make sure am not burning bridges by signing off the ESA claim. Can't see there's anything to gain from pursuing it though?

    Yes, that's true - and thank you. It appears I am now about to make my way forward without the assistance of the state, and after a number of months hopefully make landfall at my pension, on the occasion of my 60th birthday.
