Product key where

Hi
I have an old laptop that used to have XP on it but now has windows 7 and I want to do a clean install of 7 again but don't have the product key as its not on the underneath only the XP key.


Where would I find the product key in the laptop?


Ps someone on here is helping me to redue this lappy up but I cant get hold of him hence why I am asking

probably on the packet that has been thrown away
