I thought it was a well researched, well informed piece, and I learned a lot about otters.

Presumably the parking stuff was cancelled again. Perhaps it has been stayed until the Supreme Court judgment?

Appalling bit of misinformation. Fines, penalties, even suggestion that CCJs and credit rating damage were general outcomes.

And what was it with Trouser-Fire walking forwards, arms folded, just like a Sky Sports footballer/golfer/cricketer et al. Even BB was handling a One Show Penalty Charge Notice!

[STRIKE]Puerile[/STRIKE] Pure theatre. Did very little to promote the cause. Troy escaped completely unchallenged. Pathetic!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

  • umm the bloke (or the reporter) said that the BPA looked after over 700 parking organisations

very misleading statement , yes the BPA allow a lot of companies and organisations to join , even your local council , however that is as corporate members.

the true figure for PRIVATE PARKING Cos as of dec 2014 is actually 137 , yup that's one hundred and thirty seven , and dropping quickly

lets look at aug 2015 is 129 , however several of those are purely debt collection companies (zzps , DR+) total debt companies are 9

so Mr troy actually looks after (joke) 120 private parking companies

that's a bit of a drop from the (misquoted) "over" 700 companies , that the programme was related to.
