Cancelling credit card advice

in Credit cards
Hi all,
So I'm in the process of cancelling my credit cards as I had 5 and this seemed a bit excessive.
I now have:
- First Direct Gold credit card
- Barclaycard Cashback which combines both AMEX and Visa for cash back
- AMEX platinum cashback - £25 annual fee
Now I keep the FD Gold CC as it waivers the fee on my current account, however I'm wondering whether to cancel my AMEX PC CC as my B/Card has AMEX with it.
APR is the same on both accounts, but I like the idea of having the standalone AMEX PC CC, but do AMEX see my B/Card AMEX separate from the products they offer?
I love AMEX customer service and the benefits they offer, but if I am still seen as an AMEX customer with the PC CC then I can get rid of it.
Thoughts?
Thanks in advance

If the annual cash-back you normally get on the AMEX card is less than the £25 annual fee then, at first sight, it would seem that the AMEX might be the first to dispense with. Can you get similar cash-back to AMEX by using your other cards?
Warning: In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.
