Reasonable time to settle Damaged new LED TV?

Morning MSE,
I've never claimed on house insurance until last week (lived in the home 8 years), had building, contents and accidental damage with Axa.
Will keep the story short bought a new Sony TV, went to move it from TV unit onto wall, didn't quite appreciate how heavy it was and broke the screen due to too much pressure being applied by my grip.
Reported the accident last Monday, TV was taken away wednesday and confirmed BER on Friday. Phoned AXA today who reckon it will be next week before they will review the final claim. [14 days+ from original claim]
Is this a reasonable amount of time? I appreciate it's a completely first world problem not having a TV, but isn't this why we pay the fees year on year.
