Staybrite pushy salesman sold me PPI

whilst tidying up old paperwork, I have found a PPI document sold to me by Staybrite windows back in 1998 - I quickly remembered the slimy salesman....
I approached GE Money, who now own First National, who the loan was with and they quite rightly said that they did not sell me the PPI, Staybrite did. Staybrite no longer trade and GE money advised me to contact the companies administrators to make the claim.
Does anyone know how I go about this or have successfully made a claim against a Staybrite PPI?
Any help will be appreciated as I really don't to line the pockets of a PPI company....
thanks

Its game over.
Regulation didnt start until January 2005. So, a 1998 sale is 7 years too early. FSCS protection didnt start until 2005 either.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
