My friend has an Acer 17" TFT monitor which has a bit of a problem. The display is completly washed out, it looks as if all the brightness & contrast settings are set to 100%.
I've checked the obvious (all the settings on monitor have been reset to default, tried on a.n.other PC, hit with hammer etc) but the problem still persists.
I'm familiar with the fact that power invertors can & do go on these monitors, but that would normally make the image very dark rather than too bright.
Any suggestions?

So change the brightness and contrast to suit your conditions then! Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
