Yes. ISupply has a licence obligation to inform you that your contract is coming to an end. - 49 to 42 days before the contract end date. You are then free to switch. There is no requirement to inform ISupply as the switch is managed by the gaining supplier. When asked for meter readings make sure that you note them down. Do not cancel any DDs until after the switch has gone through.
PS do not use the word CANCELLING as you are SWITCHING. If you tell ISupply that you are cancelling then they may play the exit fees card. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Hi thx for that really appreciatedjoe2cool0

I don't think you have to wait until you have iSupply's permission - you are already within the 49 days, and the process of switching takes several weeks - go for it now, if that's what you want...mad mocs - the pavement worrier0

I never suggested that the OP needs ISupply's permission. He used the word CANCEL.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Hi just double checking, can I switch now from my present supplier 'Isupplyenergy', the contract ends 14th October '15 without having to pay any exit fees? Can you cancel 49 days from when the end of the contract is due?
Thx
As per the MSE Cheap Energy Club
Alternatively you should receive an email in the next day or 2 from iSupply explaining all your options
I wouldn't be in too much rush, especially as MSE has a new collective switch offer coming very soon! - more details probably in tomorrows MSE email
(It might not save you anything, but worth waiting to check for certain)0 -
