Best treatment for new LARGE shed

I'm planning on having a pretty large shed erected at the bottom of my garden. It will be about 20ft X 9ft and professionally installed. What will be the best way to treat/preserve the shed? I've tried looking online but find contradictory advice. With the shed being so large I would prefer something that I could use via a sprayer and it must be oil based as the water ones will be to thick for the sprayer. I'm not worried about colour as I want to keep the shed natural looking.
Thanks in advance

Do you actually need to treat it? I had a 10' x 14' shed put up in my garden 10+ years ago, made of tanalised timber. I've never used any treatment at all on it. It's now a silvery grey 'weathered' colour and in perfect condition.I want my sun-drenched, wind-swept Ingrid Bergman kiss, Not in the next life, I want it in this, I want it in this

As above, a tanalised shed will be a better buy in the long term, although for appearance, you might want to treat the surface with something.
I've found spirit-based treatments quickly fade, though I don't mind painting my existing sheds with old engine oil & creosote as they only house chickens!.0 -
Assuming you are using Tanalised timber, I would recommend you leave it as is for now. Enjoy the natural look for a few years and then when it has faded to grey, decide if you want to add some colour or leave it be.0
