I was trying to find the model variant (I was asked for it on an ebay sale) from the vin No
however I think I have located it , by simply looking a an online exhaust catalogue and comparing the ex sys0 -
The etis link gives you all the data, spec and options fitted at the factory, trim and paint colours etc.
lots of info.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Why do people wipe out their OP text when they've found the answer to their question? Seriously, why? Don't they realise that in all probability it's already been web-cached?
It's also highly disrespectful to people who've tried to help, and to others who may have the same issue/question.
That behaviour just puzzles me.0 -

ok , based on vin number WF0AXXWPDA4Bxxxxxx
is the vehicle type
daw-dbw or dfw , dnw
and the link above does not give this info
the V5 state variant = fydb1 , version 5cad lc
the answer I was given elsewhere was wrong
question now reposted , do you know the answer , or have a link?
the etis link states:

I've never heard of those classifications, but our ever helpful parts guy recognised them as Focus designations. He thinks DAW and DBW are hatchbacks, DNW is the estate and DFW was the saloon. No doubt some reason for the separation, but as most parts, apart from the obvious, were interchangeable, not a generally used description.0

thanks colino
its just a stupid air filter I wanted , on ebay most dealers ramble on and then say suitable for type "XXX"
the other annoying thing on ebay with there stupid drop down box is
that it then goes on to ask
daw-dbw 1998-2002
daw-dbw 2002-20040 -
That will be the engine code, it will change as the alter it over the years.
5 door saloon = hatch, series 15 is the actual model spec, EEC 7 is euro 3 emissions.
Lots of info if you spend a bit of time on it, did you try the other features also?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
