Norton Nag on Windows 10

Morning all.
I've installed Windows 10 onto a Packard Bell PC (its one of those all in one jobs) and it is working fine. Took a while to get the scanner functioning but there you go.
Anyway, the point is that I cannot get rid of the nag which comes up at the start to buy Norton antivirus.
I have uninstalled Norton from the programs but that did nothing. I have been on the Norton website and downloaded their uninstall program but that had no mention of windows 10 and seemed to do nothing, despite me following all of the instructions.
I do have antivirus protection and do not want Norton. I know that I can just click on remind me later but I don't want to be reminded later - I want to be reminded never! However, that is not an option.
Does anyone have an idea how to do this?
OS
PS, I have done a forum search for the answer to this and could not find it. Apologies if I have missed the answer earlier on another thread.
