I am thinking about preparing the animals for winter as well and I am going to use our old blankets to make them little snuggle bags to hide in! Then I am going to try and find blankets that match our new living room furniture which might not be the easiest of tasks!

Have been procrastinating too long. I have only started to collect some pine cones for the fire.! Did contact warm front, but they still havent been around.
    Time to chase.
Better get moving, as I have been on the computer for about 3 hours now and just realised that it is lunchtime and I am still in my dressinggown!! Horror!!

ooh thanks for that! i've seen it on ebay for more than that plus postage. to be honest i have no idea where i'd find it in this town we don't have a proper b&q type shop and a more affluent population (well except for the skint students!) so i would probably getting strange looks at the teensy weensy hardware store!

there is however an argos right next to my fav charity shop so i'll have to pop in later this year when it starts to cool and pick some up... and i need to measure my windows i may need two packages...all my windows are huge!

or even both! Should be quite cosy :D

I made 2 similar to this a few years ago and still use them. They are both fleece and boy do I know it when I take them off brr.
Mine was an easy vogue pattern and it was very easy I had them both done in 2 days.

I have been thinking about animals too,i have 4 outdoor rabbits and hutch covers are really expensive so im hoping to make my own as well as using some cheap fleece blankets to help insulate them.
