Travel Insurance advice wanted

Greetings
I am in need of some advice on how to get around buying travel insurance for spain in October this year.
The party will be 3 adults (youngest being my daughter who's 18) and my other half's son who will be 10 on the day after we leave UK. In essence the party consists of 3 adults (51, 46 and 18) and the child (he's bigger than me lol) of 17. I have tried Moneysupermarket who is unable to quote me as a part and the only way to get round this is to buy 2 separate policies of a single one for me and the other of 2 adults and a child. With this in mind, how does the insurance cover in terms of the the youngest who will be 18 for the remainder of the 9 days of the holidays?
There does not seem to be any mention of this on the policy wordings on any companies. Maybe someone out there can elighten me on how best to proceed in buying a policy (or two!)
Thanks for looking

I'm confused:The party will be 3 adults (youngest being my daughter who's 18) and my other half's son who will be 10 on the day after we leave UK.In essence the party consists of 3 adults (51, 46 and 18) and the child (he's bigger than me lol) of 17.Gone ... or have I?0

This is the kind of complicated situation that requires a telephone purchase.
And do explain how a kind can grow up from 10 to 18 in the space of a single holiday! You could make a bomb by selling the secret: no parent need suffer the traumas of having a teenager again!0 -
Think you'll have to get two lot of family insurance, as only two adults over 18 can travel on one policy.0
-
Alternatively you could get a group policy for four adults (assuming the 'child' is going to be 18 on the second day of the holiday)?Gone ... or have I?0

If the kids are in full time education then you could try here, as they classify up to age 23 as dependents.Family policies
If you have paid the premium for a ‘family rated’ single trip
or annual policy cover, a family is defined as follows:
husband and wife (or couple including same sex, co-habiting
for at least 6 months) and all their dependent children or
children for whom they are legal guardian, aged under 23,
who are in continuous full-time education. Independent travel
is allowed.
If it's applicable choose the 'family' option from the choices offered.0 -
Assuming it was a typo and the "child" is 17 on the day of travel and his birthday is the next day, isn't it the age of the person on the day of travel that counts and the fact that there's a birthday at some point during the trip is irrelevant? I'm not 100% sure about this, but seem to remember when we booked our insurance that it asked about age at date of travel. Maybe someone can clarify?0
