Thanks MarieMac. Thanks to the wonderful KM I'm way ahead of you!
I have to say for any of you planning to move in the future, declutter and deep clean when you have the time. I'm so happy I did so much over the past few months. Now it means that we are only taking what we need and cupboards only need a wee wipe as they are clean already. When I went to the new house to measure up for curtains last week, the owner was frantically trying to declutter and pack everything. And she has masses of stuff everywhere.
I was so glad it wasn't me. Forgive me for feeling a bit smug, but it's all down to the wonderful advice I got on the OS board over time.
Love you guys!!
P.S. I wasted my time measuring for curtains as I forgot to look and see if there were curtain rails or poles or whatever. I know she is taking all the curtains, but no point in me buying any (even from the C shop or car boot) then finding that I needed tab top rather than hook jobs. Aw well, at least I thought to measure up the cooker and washing machine spaces and got a nosy around!Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...:D:D

Can I just add that spare quilt covers can be used as emergency curtains if you just fasten them around the pole/rail with their poppers/buttons? A double one should cover most bedroom windows if you just need a quick solutionThe beautiful thing about learning is nobody can take it away from you.
Thanks to everyone who contributes to this wonderful forum. I'm very grateful for the guidance and friendliness that I always receive from you.
