Today a ticket was attached to my car in a retail park.

Purchases from three stores were made. Two receipts were retained.

The ticket was stuck to the windscreen of the car.

First receipt was issued at 2:10pm
Second was issued at 3:48pm

The ticket was issued at 2:18pm
Reason: Leaving site

There is an appeal form on the website.
The site asks for driver and keeper address.

Unsure whether as keeper i should enter all these details?

Do i ignore or appeal.
I have read the noobies sections on a number of websites and im completely confused

If you read the Newbies sticky you would know that ignoring has not been a valid option in most situations for some years now.

    Try reading it again please!
  • what im afraid of is giving too many details.

I am asked for driver and keeper info on the appeal form
i am unsure as to whether to give all this info
  • your links do not work , however

as you were a customer of the shops , go back , produce in hand , and TELL the manager to grt the tickets dropped/cancelled , no !!!!!footing about , if he refuses or gives a load of garbage "I can,t" , start with the refunds

if necessary , with a lighter load go to the next shop and repeat.

don,t speak to a shop assistant , speak to the manager , nice and loud in the shop , repeat that you have received a parking "fine" (we know) for parking whilst spending money in there shop , loudly so that customers can hear.

do 2 x photocopies of your parking ticket , write on your name , phone No and email address , and ask the managers to ring or email you with there answer , keep the original safe
  • OK ill have a ride back tomorrow :)

In your OP you tell us you have "read the noobies section".

You don't look to have read it in any detail!

(The message loud and clear there is you don't reveal who the driver is)

    Today spoke to TKMaxx.
Manager tried to help by speaking to security. They said it would be myself that they would speak to...
She was very helpful in that she gave me the CS direct number, is to report to her are manager and will write to the security/Parking company expressing her dismay (ok matbe words but kudos for a well trained manager with good customer skills)
Also spoke to Pets at home (really got me revved up, she was more arrogant that any person ive ever spoken too, "its your ticket, what do you want me to do, its your problem not mine", "we have to fight our tickets without coming finding someone else to fight it")
Pets at home are now off my list of stores ever to use

I spoke to the op that issued the ticket.
He was unaware that purchases had been made before the ticket issue but still had left site!!
The retail park is in two parts. They explained that one side is different from the other.
There are two signs on the entrance at either end but these are not visible on the pedestrian route.

He did take a different view when presented with reciepts
He then explained that he cant un-issue the ticket as it would appear he is being bribed!

    Now having to appeal.
Included the receipts acquired during my trip
  • And you took all that c**p from them?

TKMax need to be reminded that security do the manager's bidding, not the other way round.

Re: Pets at Home, did you remind the arrogant manager who pays her salary? Yes, it's her customers, of which you are a FORMER customer, and her manager will be getting to hear about how she treats her customers. And make sure you do contact the head office, and name and shame her.

And as for the "bribe" claim, I hope you told him what a load of bo*****s he was talking, and similar complaints to his manager will be made.
