I'm looking for a 10.1 tablet just for browsing and emailing.

and stick with a brand name?

non brand names on ebay will be from sellers from china , masquerading as UK sellers , you will have problems with warranty or returns with those.
buying from a UK company may cost more (hell the brits actually pay vat/import duties) but you may get a better warranty with them
but for £50 ? heck its almost a disposable item
a quick google shows http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10-1-INCH-Quad-Core-Android-4-4-Kitkat-Allwinner-Capacitive-WIFI-Tablet-PC-16GB-/311404055340?hash=item488120cb2c
but scroll down to the conpanys name/address , will your printer print that address? , and have you got a spare £60 for signed for postage?
forget the delivered by "x" when you pay , the date suddenly extends to 28 days0 -
Aldi are doing one for £150.0

The older Asus Transformers are going fairly cheap at the moment, and are not bad tabs, OH got one with the keyboard for £125 from PC World not long ago/What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

I have seen a 9'8 inch dual boot tablet on eBay, it has windows 10 and Android 4.4. I guess you can boot it from either. What comes out of China is not always bad, i have had a Tablet for 6 years and I just love it. It needs to be quad core with at least 2gb RAM.

I went with a Sony Xperia Z tablet - awesome. The second gen is out now. Bit pricey but was the best one for me when I got it.0
