Which water softener?!?!

Our boiler and water tank have failed and need replacing (at only 10 years old). We are thinking that a water softener would be a good investment at the same time that the new boiler and unvented system are installed - Does anyone have any reccommendations or advice? I've googled so much that my head hurts and I've no idea which way to go

I've got Ecowater 11. Seems to work OK - does not guzzle salt. Had an RO system installed at the same time.
