Hi...Is the European health card adequate?...I'm 65...wife 57...going to Rome for 3 nights....do we need to buy anything more for peace of mind? thanks.

Yes, proper travel insurance. EHIC only covers what the people in the country you are visiting are entitled to. So if they have to pay for an operation you will too. Also, it doesn't cover you for the extra costs involved should for example one of you take ill and you have to delay your return.0
