Unfair deposit deductions! Help

Hi everyone, sorry in advance for the rant/stress post!
Today I have looked at the deposit return request for our one bedroom flat and had a bit of a shock. They are deducting £592.56 off £788 deposit. I am in shock because after having our move out inspection I was assured that all I would need to pay would be the move out fee of £114 including vat and they arranged for a cleaner at our expense (£150) now it is only a one bedroom flat, which we had professionally cleaned and all the white goods were our own. There were no damages what so ever so I have no idea where they have found these other magical deductions from and have no notification otherwise that everything was fine. So now it is bank holiday weekend, the estate agents are closed and I am going out of my mind trying to think where they have come up with this and what I can do about it. Do I have a leg to stand on? The deposit is held by a protected scheme.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you.

If it's held in a deposit scheme you need to immediately contest the amount of money they are threatening to withhold and then the SDP will mitigate between you but you have to submit evidence that backs up your response. Like photos of pristine walls carpets etc0

deposit protection schemes were introduced for the benefit of the tenant. Why therefore have you apparently not read up on how they work in respect of return of deposits and how to dispute deductions?
go to your scheme's website, follow its dispute process, simples.0 -
Why did you agree to them arranging a cleaner at your expense if you'd already had it professionally cleaned? Dispute that as well unless there's a good reason...Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning0 -
While you're waiting for Tuesday, dig out your copy of the signed inventory from when you moved in. There wasn't one? That goes in your favour.0

Also, check if that move out fee is mentioned in your contract, if not, tell them to go fishing...0
