Throw it in the bin and get on with your life. Your not getting rich on this and your not entitled too. Any compensation is goodwill not entitlement.0

Hi,
you havn't eaten it, so caused you no harm, sickness nor diarrhoea.
You've now got a mouldy old loaf, which will attract flies, and eventually go maggoty, just bin it.
Suppose if it had caused diarrhoea you would be expecting a free box of Andrex.0 -
OP, don't ever travel from your home. There are flies and mosquitos everywhere !!! You'll starve.
I remember eating lunch outdoors at my sister in laws in Australia, you needed to be an octopus to keep the flies away. They've all survived, as have i.0 -
It wasn't even 'in the loaf'. From the title I assumed it was baked into the bread. it was in the bag, its tiny wings may have brushed past the bread.
How do people ever eat anything if this bothers them??0 -

Most people shop at the same place each time they do their weekly shop. Surely you'll be going back there at some point?0

Re-read post #5 where the OP told us:In this case we had been visiting friends and popped into the Supermarket in question to get bread for work. So I will have to make a special journey to return it.0 -

I am just waiting for the OP's new thread next week stating that the said loaf now has mould due to not being able to send it back for every reason under the sun for over a week and what can they expect to happen from there0
