So I've been doing some digging and did a whois of their website and it is registered to a Mohammed Buksh ( or Mo Buksh) from manchester. I googled his name +Manchester and there are loads of hits saying he is a well known scammer from the area who runs multiple scam companies, even a best price for "silver" scam.
    Hmm
    .

EDIT: More digging and I found that National Parking Control is registered to Cascade financial LTD which is also under scrutiny for their cash for Gold
    asa.org.uk/Rulings/Non-compliant-online-advertisers/Cascade-Financial-Ltd.aspx#.VeJMLflViko

Also on the BPA website for aos members, NPC Cascade Financial ltd britishparking.co.uk/approved-operators
, it shows No for Debt recovery,
    No for ANPR
    YES for self ticket
    No for Ticket

Does anyone know what this means please? Should I ignore?

Hello thuder - well done for finding your way to mse and Welcome:-)

This parking forum is constantly updated by regulars with expertise and reliable advice you can trust. The Popla decisions Thread shows this.

re: So I've been doing some digging and did a whois of their website'

Search those terms on this forum.

Well done for NOT using the f--- word for the unenforceable/fake/scam invoice received, also for not implying who was driver.

If this crowd is with BPA, you can receive a POPLA code, but that process just changed, on 21 August. All this is covered in the Newbies Stickies. We know the young person will be feeling wrung out with all of this reading and info, but show willing and people here will help.

Get your head around the acronyms, and go after the managing agents, who employ this scammer. They will deny responsibility, but they appointed or employed them, so they can send them packing, ditto the scam invoice. Youll need written/screenshot proof of this.

I'm not doing the Searches for you, as your posts are rich in names and circs to use. A lovely way to spend Aug BH, I know, but the weather's predictably foul, so....

This is a contractual charge and they must account for v.a.t. If they have not done so thay may be trying to evade tax. Read this and ask for a vat compliant invoice.

If you suspect tax evasion go here
